To first start to understand the relationship between artificial intelligence & non-profits, we should define what AI is: “The ability of a machine to carry out actions frequently performed by intelligent beings is known as artificial intelligence.” This refers to technology that is able to think, act, and learn just like people.

Should we embrace artificial intelligence?

It is obvious that machine learning and AI have a TON of potential for your company. Nonetheless, there are many questions about how artificial intelligence may affect human employment.

Will AI completely replace workers in the workplace? Most likely not. As you take the time to learn about its advantages, you’ll see that AI has positive influences on almost every sector of business, including nonprofits.

According to a recent study, 89% of nonprofit workers think AI may increase the effectiveness of their organization. AI has the potential to improve your services, expand your societal impact, and even save lives.

Artificial intelligence can help non-profit organizations in many ways, such as automating processes, improving data analysis, and enhancing customer service. AI can automate administrative tasks, such as data entry, freeing up human resources for more important tasks. AI can also help with data analysis so that organizations can better understand their donor base and target their campaigns more effectively. AI can also be used to provide enhanced customer service, such as chatbots, which can help answer common questions and help donors find the resources they need. Finally, AI can also be used to create more personalized and targeted emails and other forms of communication with donors.

Talking about automating processes…

AI exists to assist humankind, not to replace it.

AI can aid you in making appropriate judgments by quickly analyzing large amounts of data. Tools based on artificial intelligence can lighten the load of tedious, repetitive tasks like keeping track of financial transactions and finding inconsistencies in your data.

AI can also estimate giving trends and predict donor behavior, enabling you to quickly target your fundraising campaigns to a specific demographic without spending hours combing through data.

In summary, trying to describe the relationship between artificial intelligence & non-profits, this is our closing statement: As AI takes care of automating the boring processes, you are free to take care of what really matters in these cases, building real human relationships.
