Previously, our CEO, Lori Shecter was VP of Sales in corporate America. Using the knowledge she gained from multi-million-dollar marketing teams, she launched We Are Immediate. After working with Fortune 500 clients such as IKEA, MasterCard, and Weight Watchers she turned We Are Immediate’s focus on supporting non-profit communities. We have impacted millions of people since then by offering a world-class digital presence in the non-profit sector. The websites we design have led to significant increases in brand awareness, donations, sponsorships, and user engagement.
Lori’s determination to bring world-class design and development to the non-profit arena has been the guiding force for We Are Immediate. Lori believes that the best way she can give back is to provide cost-effective, highly robust solutions to the NPO sector. She spearheads our commitment by providing weekly pro-bono conference calls with organizations in need of marketing and design support. Additionally, her vision of providing Zero-Defect solutions is an integral part of We Are Immediate and is applied to every project. She leads our technical and design approach from start to finish and works closely with our clients and project managers following the kickoff to define and formalize the project’s business requirements. During the project, Lori acts as a liaison for all stakeholders to answer questions that may impact it. Lori oversees most projects at WAI. The same best practices are utilized in the non-profit sector as our Fortune 500 clients. Prior to We Are Immediate, Lori was in digital advertising where she developed and ran National Sales positions at the publishing house, Gruner & Jahr. Most recently, Lori created and ran North American ad sales for Weightwatchers.com where she increased sales to over $30 million. She holds her BA in Communication Design from the University of Pennsylvania and completed coursework toward her MBA at New York University.
