The reorganization process of this enormous amount of content was no small feature. The event registration aspect was solved in a practical and effective way.

Complete flexibility for NYSTEC

Over 12 new page templates were created, each carefully crafted for a specific purpose within the website. All sections have distinct areas that we want to highlight, which is achieved by our effective design around said areas.

The mobile design is pixel-perfect. This means that every single item looks exactly how it is intended to look on all devices and screen sizes. It requires extreme attention to detail and accuracy in order to ensure that all elements of the design are displayed exactly as they should be.

Style Guide

Both our team and the NYSTEC team worked hard to find the best way to expand on the previous website’s style and color palette, but also trying to innovate and to bring a modern feel and performance to the website.

Research

Once again, our first step is to understand what the company stands for, what its goals are, and how its actions affect the community. With all this in mind, we created our first drafts for NYSTEC approval.

UX Design

The User Experience is a key part of the goals we aim to achieve, so finding a way to present all the content in a smooth and organized way can be quite a challenge and is one of our specialties. The ideal scenario would include easy to find information, a smooth event registration process, a visible and qualified Leadership, and a main focus on all the different programs NYSTEC has to offer.

Graphic Design

Our approach to the NYSTEC website was a very classy and conservative one, maintaining the sobriety of the previous website, while giving it a modern twist, including giving the protagonist spot to images and videos.

Development

The development stage begins as soon as the first designs are approved by the client, to ensure that the website is completely ready within deadline. The extensive testing (in desktop, mobile, many different browsers and devices) of each template also starts immediately after the first templates are ready. By the time the content migration comes, every single template has been tested and optimized to the maximum. As in all of our projects, the NYSTEC website was successfully completed in time.

SEO

All our websites come with Search Engine Optimization technology, tools, and training. By optimizing a website’s content, structure, and technical aspects, SEO helps ensure that it appears higher in search results, making it easier for potential donors and volunteers to find. This increased visibility leads to more organic traffic, which is often more valuable than paid traffic because it’s driven by genuine interest in the website’s offerings. Even more, SEO helps build credibility and trust, as users tend to associate higher-ranking sites with authority and reliability.
