Complete flexibility for PFS

Over 18 page templates were created for Peninsula, each carefully crafted for a specific purpose within the website, whether it be bios, blog posts, donation pages, financial reports, etc. All sections have distinct elements that we want to highlight, which is achieved by our effective design around said areas.

All templates are independent

The mobile design is flawless, with every element appearing exactly as intended across all devices and screen sizes. Achieving this demands meticulous attention to detail and precision, ensuring that every aspect of the design is perfectly rendered.

Style Guide

Both the WAI and the Peninsula teams tirelessly to find the perfect balance between their traditional style guide and colors and a new modern approach that would help make the user experience as smooth as possible in every way.

Research

Through a series of interviews and surveys (mainly for employees and sometimes users, in this case from Peninsula), we aim to fully grasp what the organization stands for and what it needs to achieve. With that information in mind, we are equipped to start the whole process. Some of the subjects we cover are “features that are missing and could be helpful”, “where do you think the website could be improved”, “what is the main obstacle for users when donating”, and more similar questions aimed at identifying issues and solving them.

UX Design

The User Experience is a key part of the goals we aim to achieve, so finding a way to present all the content in a smooth and organized way can be quite a challenge and is one of our specialties. The ideal scenario would include easy to find information, a smooth donation process, clear proof on how the money users donate actually helps improve people’s lives, a visible and qualified Leadership, and a main focus on all the different programs Peninsula has to offer to people in need.

Graphic Design

Our approach for Peninsula was a colorful and eye-catching design, using and expanding on the organization’s color palette and logo, with a very expressive and strategic use of images to highlight key sections and elements. A clear contrast in the backgrounds of the different elements of a page can be a great way to delimit and divide the sections in a manner that helps create a reading flow and not interrupt it.

Development & QA

The development stage begins as soon as the first designs are approved by the client, to ensure that the website is completely ready within deadline. The extensive testing (in desktop, mobile, many different browsers and devices) of each template also starts immediately after the first templates are ready. By the time the content migration comes, every single template has been tested and optimized to the maximum.

SEO

All our websites come with Search Engine Optimization technology, tools, and training. By optimizing a website’s content, structure, and technical aspects, SEO helps ensure that it appears higher in search results, making it easier for potential donors and volunteers to find. This increased visibility leads to more organic traffic, which is often more valuable than paid traffic because it’s driven by genuine interest in the website’s offerings. Even more, SEO helps build credibility and trust, as users tend to associate higher-ranking sites with authority and reliability.
